Um, so farming is hard work. Luckily, if the first part of today is anything to go by, although it's harder than I'm used to working (which is kind of the point!), I don't think it's anything I can't handle--I'll just be sleeping better at night. Duties today thus far have included:
* Raking the soil to cover the freshly dispersed seeds.
* Trawling the field for broken glass and bits of wire and metal (apparently one of the cabins used to be a heroin den prior to occupancy!).
* Feeding the pig, Miss Piggy.
* Goats!
* Weeding, weeding, weeding.
Then it was off for lunch at noon, to be continued at three. More inspired posts to follow when I have more fully acclimated to my new regimen.
