Oh yes, after speaking with Omar (my farm liaison) today, I learned that my cell phone service will most likely be more or less non-existent in Chimayo, on account of it is provided by AT & T. So it looks like my threats (promises?) of being incommunicado (at least telephonically) for a stretch might actually come to pass. Accordingly, apologies in advance if anyone tries to call or text and is not met with a swift response. Or enjoy the silence, as the case may be.
